FPNA Executive Secretary Position Opening
To Start January 1, 2017

Duties:
Attendance at all FPNA board meetings and semi-annual and Neighborhood Meetings.
Account Management—monitoring communication of e-mails and telephone calls, which are directed at the association.
Dissemination of Information—Prompt dissemination of pertinent information to FPNA’s various publics, i.e., board, members, elected officials, governmental contacts, news media, etc.
Public Relations—Production and dissemination of letters and news releases on topics, which the board decides are worthy.
Custom-tailored Contact Lists—Maintain and update news media, member list serve, elected officials and governmental contacts, routinely revise and update.
On-going client consultations, public relations and marketing advice on issues, events and promotional projects affecting FPNA.
Web Site—Provide news, social media and other information for those maintaining website or Face Book.
Monthly & Bi-Annual meetings— Arrange and formulate agendas for one community meeting per month, as directed by FPNA’s president. Coordination of meetings & guests, including reservation of location and production of agendas and other documents necessary for the meetings.
Help write annual membership letter (early spring, March) with help from president.
Miscellaneous Secretarial Duties—Maintenance of files, minutes and necessary documents, including collection and keeping of all minutes. Maintain good communication with president.
Office Maintenance and Billing—Location and availability for necessary contact and billing of any services provided by the agency. All secretarial bills to be presented to the treasurer of FPNA.
Extra tasks to be billed separately—May include copy and production of grant writing, Fox Point News or Website
Pick-up of mail at East Providence postbox to be determined.
